Silicon Valley Research Group Inc. Conducts eSurvey™ Research for Leading Broadband IC Provider

Design managers and engineers invited to participate in web-based survey to assess corporate brand equity.

Seattle, WA - May 31, 2001 - Silicon Valley Research Group Inc. (www.siliconvalleyrg.com), a leading high technology research and strategy development company, has been commissioned by PMC-Sierra, a leading broadband IC provider, to conduct a study using Silicon Valley Research Group Inc. eSurvey™ to measure brand awareness and equity. eSurvey™ is a quantitative research survey conducted for the purpose of obtaining empirical evaluations of attitudes, behavior or performance. Qualified respondents are invited via email to participate in the web-based survey. After participants complete the survey and submit their response, their answers are instantly transferred to a statistical software program for frequency and cross-tabulation calculations. Selective participants, representing design managers and engineers, will be invited to complete the web-based survey designed to trap top-of-mind awareness for the PMC-Sierra brand and product lines. “Our eSurvey™ service will provide our client with the ability to measure their awareness amongst their customers and target market,” says Al Nazarelli, President and Founder of Silicon Valley Research Group Inc. “This information is invaluable to companies as they evaluate the success of their own marketing initiatives and plan for future awareness campaigns.” PMC-Sierra plans to continue their brand building initiatives upon the completion of the study.
